1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Rist website (rist.watch) and any related services operated by Rist Mobile, LLC ("Rist," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Reservation and Deposit

By placing a reservation, you agree to the following:

  • A $1 deposit is required to reserve a Rist Watch and lock in early-bird pricing.
  • Your deposit secures your place on the reservation list and entitles you to the early-bird discount of 33% off the retail price at launch.
  • The deposit is fully refundable at any time before the product ships. To request a refund, contact us at support@inbox.rist.watch.
  • The deposit does not guarantee a specific ship date. Rist is a pre-launch product, and timelines are subject to change.
  • You will be notified by email when the product is ready to ship and will have the opportunity to complete your purchase at the early-bird price or cancel your reservation for a full refund.

3. Pre-Order Expectations

Rist is currently in development. By reserving, you acknowledge that:

  • Product features, specifications, design, and pricing (beyond the early-bird discount) may change before launch.
  • There is no guaranteed delivery date. We will provide regular updates on development progress.
  • Your reservation does not constitute a purchase of a finished product.

4. Refund Policy

  • Deposit refunds: Your $1 deposit is fully refundable at any time before the product ships. Email support@inbox.rist.watch to request a refund.
  • Product refunds: Once the product ships and you complete your purchase, refund and return policies will be provided at that time.

5. Email Communications

By providing your email address, you consent to receive emails from Rist regarding product updates, launch information, and promotional offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send. For details on how we handle your personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Rist and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Rist is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim related to your reservation shall not exceed the amount of your deposit ($1).

8. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in the State of Texas. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.

9. Text Messaging Program

RIST is a personal assistant that sends text messages and places calls on your behalf, at your explicit instruction, to people in your own contacts. You name the recipient and dictate the message, and RIST confirms it with you before sending. RIST does not send messages on its own initiative.

Message frequency varies and depends entirely on how often you ask RIST to send messages. Message and data rates may apply.

The first time RIST messages a recipient, the message carries a one-time disclosure identifying the service and how to get help or opt out. It takes the form "RIST: [message] Msg freq varies. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.", where [message] is the text you dictated. A recipient continues to receive messages unless they opt out. Opting out is permanent.

Every message RIST sends begins with "RIST:".

Recipients may reply HELP at any time for information about the program, or STOP (or END, QUIT, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE) at any time to stop receiving messages. Opting out is permanent and cannot be bypassed by messaging the recipient from a different number. A STOP sent to a RIST number receives a one-time confirmation reply; RIST does not send an automated reply from a personal device, but honors the opt-out on every path.

RIST does not send marketing or promotional messages, and does not message numbers obtained from purchased, rented, or third-party lists — only the contacts you personally ask it to reach. For questions about this messaging program, contact support@inbox.rist.watch.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Your continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
